FIGHT gameplay is built on the foundation of classic fighting game fundamentals that have stood the test of time. Each of our initial eighteen unique fighters brings their own move-set and fighting style to the arena with customizable combo strings and special moves that reward technical mastery and strategic thinking. Our **REP** system introduces a risk-reward mechanic where perfectly timed moves deal additional damage. A quick victory with health remaining earns bonus **REP** points, while failed executions leave fighters vulnerable to counter attacks.&#x20;

Game Structure: "Run The Block"

* Players start at Floor 1 and fight their way up through 18 floors
* Each floor represents a more challenging AI opponent

Floor Categories:

Ground Floors (1-6)

* Tutorial-style opponents teaching basic mechanics
* AI focuses on fundamental moves and basic combos
* Perfect for new players to learn spacing, blocking, and timing
* Opponents get gradually more aggressive

Mid Floors (7-12)

* AI starts using more complex combo strings
* Introduces opponents with unique fighting styles
* Fighters begin using environmental hazards
* Mid-bosses require specific strategies to defeat

Elite Floors (13-18)

* AI matches expert-level human reactions
* Opponents use frame-perfect counters
* Each fighter has distinct weakness players must exploit
* Environmental challenges become part of strategy

Final Floor&#x20;

* Ultimate boss with multiple fighting phases
* Combines all previously learned mechanics
* Dynamic arena that changes during battle
* Requires mastery of all game systems to complete

Progression Features:

* Unlock new moves and combos after defeating each floor
* Earn REP points for creative victories
* Can replay previous floors to practice or improve scores
* Optional challenge modes for each floor (no damage, time attack, etc.)

Difficulty Scaling:

* AI adapts to player performance
* Higher floors introduce new mechanics gradually
* Boss floors test mastery of recent lessons
* Optional difficulty modifiers for experienced players

Reward System:

* Unlock character customization options
* Earn new fighting styles and moves
* Collect lore about each opponent
* Special rewards for challenge mode completion

**PVP**

Tournament Structure:

* Single elimination format
* 16 players compete in 1v1 matches
* 4 rounds total leading to one champion
* 15 total matches throughout the tournament

Round Breakdown:

1. Round 1 (Round of 16)
   * 8 matches with 16 players
   * Winners advance, losers are eliminated
2. Quarter-Finals (Round of 8)
   * 4 matches with 8 remaining players
   * Winners advance to semi-finals
3. Semi-Finals (Round of 4)
   * 2 matches with 4 remaining players
   * Winners advance to finals
4. Finals
   * 1 match between the top 2 players
   * Winner crowned tournament champion

Match Format:

* Each match is a 1v1 fighting game battle
* One winner advances per match
* Matches are scheduled with 10-minute intervals to allow for setup and potential delays

Tournament Flow:

1. Players are randomly seeded into initial matchups
2. Each match result is recorded and winners automatically advance
3. New matches are created for subsequent rounds
4. Tournament progresses until a champion is determined

Player Tracking:

* Each player has a unique ID and name
* Win/loss records are maintained
* Tournament progress is tracked for each participant
